Honeymoon and Travel In Malaysia

MALAYSIA

A country of southeast Asia consisting of the southern Malay Peninsula and the northern part of the island of Borneo. Malays probably moved into the penisula c. 2000 B.C., eventually reaching northern Borneo and displacing the indigenous Dayaks. Europeans arrived in the 16th century. By the 20th century Great Britain had established protectorates throughout the lower peninsula, which later formed the Union (1946) and then the Federation (1948) of Malaya. Gaining independence in 1957, it joined with Singapore, Sabah, and Sarawak to become the Federation of Malaysia in 1963. Singapore gained independence separately in 1965. Kuala Lumpur is the capital and the largest city. Population: 24,800,000. More info

    HONEYMOON

    Islands in Malaysia
The Perfect place for your Honeymoon.....

    • Langkawi Island

Langkawi island is an archipelago of 104 islands lying in the north western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The exact location of these tropical islands is at the site where the Straits of Malacca meets the waters of the Andaman Seas.

The main tourist attractions of Langkawi Island is its virgin white sandy beaches. The beaches have very gentle continental slope and the water is crystal clear.

    • Pangkor Island

The Malaysia tourism destination Pangkor is very well known for the white sand beaches, crystal blue waters, canoeing, jungle treks, bright stars, excellent food, snorkeling, jet-skiing and tropical fruits.
Furthermore it's quiet and relaxing, in short, gorgeous and awesome! It's the ultimate Malaysian holiday destination, as many Malaysian people already know!

    • Perhentian Island

The Perhentian Islands are two islands named Pulau Perhentian Kecil (Small Perhentian Island) and Pulau Perhentian Besar (Large Perhentian Island). The Malay name Perhentian is translated as “place to stop” and this is exactly what these two islands were for traders travelling between Malaysia and Bangkok in years gone by. These islands are still a gorgeous place to stop and rest today, albeit for tourists disconnecting from the stress and routine of everyday life and not for weary seafaring traders.

    • Redang Island
Pulau Redang is the largest island in the park, about 7km long and 6km wide. There are a number of tiny uninhabited islands sprinkled around Pulau Redang itself such as Pulau Ling, Pulau Kerengga Besar and Pulau Paku Kecil. These islands harbour much life beneath the rocky outcrops and pearly white pockets of beaches. A natural playground for divers and snorkellers alike, the islands are within easy reach by boat from Pulau Redang.

    • Tioman Island

Tioman has a wonderful flora and fauna diversity. Biologists have found the forested area on the island similar to that on the Peninsular but yet with subtle differences. Perhaps with the absence of large predators, species on the lower ranks of the food chain were able to flourish in this relative isolation. Most common are the macaques, pythons, mousedeers, monitor lizards and flying foxes. A recent study noted that 22 amphibian, one non-marine turtle, 32 lizard and 26 snake species contribute to the fauna on Tioman where its interior encompasses 5 major vegetation zones and is ideal cover for such a big variety of species on an island. The mangrove swamps on Tioman are one of the last remaining original swamps that used to be aplenty on the mainland but has since been cleared for development. These swamps are incredibly rich with fauna: land and water.

    • Sibu Island

The panoramic sea views, the coral reefs and the white sandy beaches make Sibu a special place, where the only risk is to fall in love with the idyllic island life. Have a peaceful, private holiday, enjoy some sea sports or just relax in paradise. Selamat Datang!

    • Lang Tengah Island
Beaches are at the north-eastern and south-western side of the island and are separated by a mountain that acts as the backbone of the island. However it is possible to visit beach and resorts on the other side through a path in the bush.

Powdery coral-white sand stretches on either side of it, the delight of tan-seekers and beachcombers. Perhaps almost all of the islands in East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia are gifted the white sandy beach. The soft feeling given to your foot when you step on the sand is a wonderful feeling. In sunny day, you can hardly open your eyes as this white sandy beach reflects the sun shine.
